MEGAN R. ANGELL graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and summa cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in May 1999, placing first in her class. In law school she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Surheinrich of the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and worked with the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office.
Megan's general practice includes the areas of business formation, small business law, civil litigation, family law, wills and estate planning, and real estate law. With other attorneys in the firm, she is an assistant city attorney for the City of Coldwater.
Following graduation, Ms. Angell worked at the Michigan Court of Appeals as a research attorney for one year, and then commenced a law practice in Hillsdale, Michigan, for a brief period, before joining Biringer, Hutchinson, Lillis & Bappert, P.C., now Biringer, Hutchinson, Lillis, Bappert & Angell, P.C, in 2001.
Megan is a past President of the Branch County Bar Association and a member of Altrusa of Branch County.
Megan and her husband, George, reside in Hillsdale, Michigan, with their two children.
